As to the currencies, the most important is gold. You can get it from doing quests, selling loot from monsters to npcs, for example Roan in Ithan, or selling your items at auctions. As you reach more experience you will get better equipment and learn skills which will make your character stronger. You should join a guild and play with other people to pick up the rest xD

There isnt official statement but im nearly sure that these type of mobs have their respawn timer extended to ~2-3 times normal respawn time.

Well, it's rather planned maintenance or some outage, it should be fixed rather soon, just go to sleep and when you wake up servers should be up and running, unfortunately there is nothing you can do right now.

Once you get past certain level (25th I think) you'll be able to remove quests which pop up there, and then the popout will vanish. You'll be able to add quests back there and thus bring the popout in a quest tab (by default set to "T" on your keyboard).

When it comes to currencies other than gold, and draconite which ways of use are easily findable, every other currency is tied to a certain NPC, I won't name every single currency and tie it to a NPC but I'll name some NPC's with which you'll have most to do:
Ithan: "Amaya" - Routine stones
Eder: "Jack Artificium" - Sapphire coins
As to other NPC's I'll leave the search of them for you, since there are quite a few and aren't essential in your journey.
When it comes to profession stones(such as Mage Stone) they have use in crafting and with them you can buy several items from "Nervous" NPC's which are scattered across Margonem cities(note that in order to start a conversation with them you need to have right profession stone).

This is a failure, first you could not log in for a few days, now a few days the game will not load, and for sure tomorrow we will only get the info that "we apologize for the bugs". You would at least give some real compensation for what is actually happening. Not to mention the fact that two players can play normally, because they uses a script. English margo is a nice sneak peak, but keep an eye on what is happening, because it's just spitting in our face
