Garmory Team
game master
Document valid from June 4, 2026.
1.1. Within the scope of Premium Services concerning custom graphics, the Service Provider is solely responsible for the paid provision of space for uploading a custom graphic (hereinafter referred to as the “Graphic Slot”). The User is fully responsible for the graphic itself. By initiating the procedure of introducing a custom graphic into the Game, the User simultaneously declares that they either: (a) hold the economic copyrights to the submitted graphic; or (b) have been granted a license authorizing them to introduce the graphic into the Service and use it in accordance with these rules.
1.2. Premium Services concerning custom graphics include only the provision of the Graphic Slot. The User is responsible for adapting the graphic to these guidelines, which directly affects its proper display. Incorrect display of a graphic resulting from the User’s violation of the rules described below does not entitle the User to a refund of the fee paid for the Premium Service.
1.3. A submitted graphic may not be based on other custom graphics previously introduced into the Game (this does not apply to other works created by the same author).
1.4. Graphics introduced by the Service Provider into any productions of Garmory sp. z o.o. sp. k. constitute the intellectual property of Garmory sp. z o.o. sp. k. The Service Provider does not grant a license for the use of such content within custom graphics submitted by Users. An exception applies where the Service Provider grants a license for content from the collection of graphics made available in accordance with section 6.7 of these rules.
1.5. If a submitted graphic is rejected, the Service Provider shall indicate the provisions of these rules that the graphic does not comply with. The Service Provider does not provide additional training or advice regarding the creation of pixel art graphics. The feedback message shall contain only a list of unmet requirements expressed by referencing the relevant provisions of this document.
2.1. The Service Provider assumes that the clan leader either: (a) holds the economic copyrights to the submitted graphic; or (b) has been granted a license authorizing them to introduce the graphic into the Service and use it in accordance with these rules, and will operate based on this assumption. Clan organizational matters are considered private matters of the Players. The Service Provider does not undertake any interference or mediation in such matters.
2.2. Ensuring that the graphic submitted by the User is used in compliance with applicable law (especially with regard to copyright regulations) is the sole responsibility of the User. In the event of a copyright infringement report supported by indisputable evidence and submitted by authorized entities regarding the submitted graphic, the User providing the graphic bears full responsibility for its unlawful use. Upon receiving and verifying such a report, the Service Provider shall immediately remove the graphic from the Service and replace the item/outfit/pet graphic with the appropriate default graphic, respectively:
- for an item: item-shadow;
- for an individual outfit: character-shadow or character-shadow-female;
- for a clan outfit: character-shadow or character-shadow-female;
- for an individual pet: pet-shadow-1a.
In such a case, the Player (or, in the case of a clan outfit, the current clan leader) shall also receive an appropriate notification informing them of the reason for the removal of the graphic from the Service and of the possibility to upload a new graphic under the fee already paid for the service.
2.3. In the event of reports concerning duplicates (i.e. when a User introduces an item, pet, clan outfit, or individual outfit graphic that has already been introduced earlier by another User without obtaining their consent), the principle of priority shall apply. Duplicate graphics shall be removed from the Service, and the Service Provider shall replace the item/outfit/pet graphic with the appropriate default graphic, respectively:
- for an item: item-shadow;
- for an individual outfit: character-shadow or character-shadow-female;
- for a clan outfit: character-shadow or character-shadow-female;
2.4. A User wishing to sell an outfit graphic should independently ensure the buyer’s interests are protected and, when withdrawing the outfit from the Account, indicate the new owner of the graphic so that the new owner may introduce the graphic to their own Account without issues. The Service Provider is not a party to such matters and will not conduct mediation. If no person is indicated upon withdrawal of the outfit, the rule set out in section 2.3 shall apply accordingly. We will not be able to assist in cases where several people introduce the same graphic simultaneously.
3.1. The User submits a graphic compliant with these rules through the Support. To do so, a thread must be created in the “Payments” section. The message must include:
a. The graphic submitted via the attachment system;
b. Information about the author, e.g. the entity name and/or a link to a portfolio, contact page, or Account Profile;
c. Other information necessary for the proper execution of the service by the Service Provider, available here.
3.2. The graphic shall be verified by the Service Provider solely with regard to compliance with the technical and lore-related requirements described in these rules. If it is deemed inconsistent with these provisions, it shall be rejected.
3.3. The User has the right to introduce corrections to the graphic free of charge within 7 calendar days from the date of its introduction. To do so, a thread must be created in the “Payments” section. The message must contain information analogous to that specified in section 3.1. Corrections to a graphic are understood as minor modifications that do not alter its key, visually identifying aspects. This does not apply to the Premium Service named: “Introduction of the Same Individual Outfit to Another World.”
3.4. If the submitting User does not know the author of the graphic, they should inform the Service Provider of this fact.
3.5. In the event of doubts as to whether a given graphic or concept meets the technical or lore-related requirements, the User may consult the Service Provider on this matter through the Support. The Service Provider does not provide training regarding pixel art techniques. The feedback message in such cases shall contain only information on whether the graphic meets the indicated requirements, along with a brief justification of the decision and possible suggestions for further changes.
NOTE: We remind you that graphics introduced by you into Margonem constitute a work within the meaning of the provisions of the Copyright and Related Rights Act. Therefore, they are protected under applicable law. Unlawful appropriation of rights to a graphic constitutes a criminal offense!
4.1. The graphic must fit naturally into the world of Margonem MMORPG, meaning it should match the medieval fantasy atmosphere or, by reference, historical periods ranging from antiquity to the 16th century.
4.2. The graphic may not evoke associations with modern or futuristic themes, even if limited to technology theoretically available within the above-mentioned historical periods, for example through distinctly modern clothing styles or elements.
4.3. The graphic may not reference controversial or emotionally charged content, in particular:
a. religious motifs from the real world, especially in a mocking, blasphemous, or provocative manner (e.g. stylizations of saints, clergy members, worshippers, etc.);
b. political motifs from the real world, including both historical and contemporary themes (e.g. stylizations of politicians, activists, social campaigners, particularly those associated with extremist, radical, or controversial movements);
c. criminal motifs from the real world, especially stylizations of characters as “patostreamers,” gangsters, or other representatives or figures associated with broadly understood criminal activity;
d. motifs inconsistent with good morals and commonly accepted social standards, classified as Vulgar Content;
e. totalitarian ideologies and related movements from the real world;
f. other themes causing outrage, social objection, or generally recognized as offensive;
g. other content falling under the category of Prohibited Content not explicitly mentioned here, but regulated by the Terms and Conditions of the Margonem Service and Game.
Graphics may reference only elements (including stimulants), movements, and ideologies presented within the Game’s lore and constituting its integral part; an exception applies to the in-game location known as the Sect: graphics referencing the Sect must avoid associations with organizations using characteristic white pointed hoods, as this conflicts with the above provisions.
4.4. Graphics may reference pagan motifs; however, due to the appropriation of such symbols by totalitarian and related movements mentioned in section 4.3, each case shall be analyzed individually.
4.5. Graphics may not mock other individuals (or groups of individuals). They may also not be introduced in bad faith or in a manner harmful to the image or reputation of others.
4.6. Graphics depicting humanoid characters must have areas commonly regarded as intimate covered. The minimum required level of coverage shall correspond to that of modern swimwear. As a reference, Users are requested to review the official template graphic depicting a human character made available by the Service Provider.
4.7. A graphic may extend beyond the boundaries of the reference historical period if justified by a reference to a location/NPC/item presented within the permanent lore elements of the Game; event-related lore, NPCs, and items are not considered permanent lore elements and shall not be taken into account. The submission must indicate the fragment of lore to which the element refers.
4.8. Graphics depicting characters must portray one of the races existing in the world of Margonem MMORPG.
4.9. Shades of skin, fur, and body elements should be natural and occurring in nature, or possess a saturation level appropriate for a natural element, in a manner fitting the lore of the presented world, allowing the graphic to integrate naturally into the graphical style and Color Palette of the Margonem MMORPG world.
4.10. A character may have a similar concept to or be inspired by the graphic of an NPC from the world of Margonem MMORPG, excluding the use or copying of elements from such graphics. However, in the case of NPCs whose appearance does not comply with the other provisions of these rules, the graphic must be adapted to meet the remaining requirements or be preliminarily consulted through the Support in order to avoid misunderstandings. Outfits based on certain NPC graphics may be rejected for technical reasons or for the reasons described in section 4.3. The Service Provider reserves the right to reject such graphics and reminds Users that inspiration drawn from NPC graphics does not, in any way, guarantee approval of such graphics for inclusion in the Game.
4.11. Graphics referencing or inspired by graphics belonging to Garmory sp. z o.o. sp. k. shall be treated as fan art and recognized as operating under the right of quotation, excluding the possibility of submitting claims regarding the appearance of proprietary graphics.
5.1. All permissible graphic file size values are conventionally expressed in kB as a continuation of the existing convention. The actual permitted file sizes are: (a) outfit: 64 KiB, (b) item: 15 KiB, and (c) pet: 64 KiB (+10% KiB for each additional special action).
5.2. The graphic must be created using pixel art techniques and meet a quality standard comparable to contemporary graphics used in the world of Margonem MMORPG. The following in-game graphics should be treated as quality references:

To familiarize yourself with the correct process of creating an outfit and/or other types of graphics, we encourage you to watch the videos available on the Game’s official channel:
- Lordz of Pixelz - Kot w pudełku (odcinek 1)
- Lordz of Pixelz - Przedmioty Burkoga Lorulka (odcinek 4)
- Lordz of Pixelz - Strój Sarmackiego Awanturnika (odcinek 7)
- Lordz of Pixelz - Strój Sarmackiej Szlachcianki (odcinek 8)
5.3. Graphics depicting shapeless or poorly refined items/characters, presenting a low standard in comparison to the official graphics of the Margonem MMORPG world, and created using artificial intelligence tools, shall be rejected as low-quality graphics, without the possibility of appeal against the decision. Graphics introduced by Players may not contribute to lowering the technical standard of the visual presentation of the Margonem MMORPG world.

5.4. Rejection of a graphic due to low quality shall be indicated by reference to section 5.2. The graphic must be adapted to the required standards independently by the Player. It is not possible to obtain graphic design consultations through the Support. The responsibilities of the Support staff are limited solely to assessing whether the graphic meets the specified requirements.
5.5. The graphic must use a color scheme consistent with the style of the Margonem MMORPG world, the accepted in-game color conventions, or the palette provided by the Service Provider. If colors used in the graphic are deemed inconsistent with the style of Margonem MMORPG, the Service Provider shall refer to this section and reject the graphic.

5.6. The graphic must conform to the overall graphic design style of Margonem MMORPG, and unconventional solutions or those inconsistent with this style may be deemed incompatible with the applicable convention and rejected. Solutions considered inconsistent with the graphic design style include, in particular:
a. Character outlines using uniform or nearly uniform colors that disrupt the visual integration of the character with the Game’s background;

b. dark, high-contrast outlines using in particular the color #000000 and related colors, as well as colors producing a similar effect through contrast, which cause the character to visually stand out from the Game’s background;

c. the use of neon or highly saturated colors to outline large areas of the graphic, causing it to significantly stand out from the Game’s background-even if colors from the palette are used (saturated palette colors are intended for decorative elements, highlighting details, etc.);

d. solutions leading to outlining a large surface of a single frame of the graphic, resulting in a shapeless appearance of the depicted character, item, pet, etc., and significantly making it resemble a rectangle;

e. the use of straight lines in places where they would not naturally occur, in a way that reduces the quality of the graphic;

f. significant deviation from the provided official character templates in terms of anatomy and quality, for example through modification of the face, anatomy, palette, or other characteristic elements;

g. incorrect or missing shading of elements or of the graphic as a whole;

h. carelessness or chaotic lines that make the graphic resemble an amorphous blot, particularly when this is not justified by the concept of the graphic;

i. a “flatness” effect that makes the character resemble a printed paper cutout when compared with official graphics, resulting from a combination of the issues described in the previous points;

j. the use of additional filters/animations/other techniques that lead to the loss of typical characteristics of pixel art or violate other technical rules, resulting in the graphic being transformed into a collage-type work;

k. lack of a transparent background;

l. incorrect positioning of the character within the animation frames, resulting in improper display in the Game;

m. other related and equally incorrect and/or careless solutions that result in low-quality graphics, which are not mentioned here.
5.7. The graphic must not contain elements that could cause harm to the health of its recipients (in particular those that may intensify neurological conditions).
5.8. A single animation frame may not have a duration shorter than 40 ms.
5.9. The Service Provider is not responsible for changes in the display of submitted graphics resulting from external factors, including changes in web browser functionality or other updates to technologies external to the Service.
5.10. The graphic must not contain characteristics that, in the Service Provider’s assessment, would disrupt or hinder gameplay for other Players or reduce the enjoyment of the game. Graphics deemed to violate this provision will not be admitted into the Game.
6.1. The graphic must comply with sections 1-5.
6.2. The graphic must not exceed 64 kB in file size.
6.3. A graphic depicting a character must not exceed a single movement frame size of 32x48 px (width × height). The entire outfit must be placed on a canvas with dimensions of 128x192 px in a manner consistent with the convention used in Margonem MMORPG.
6.4. It is allowed to introduce custom graphics that slightly deviate technically from the Margonem MMORPG convention, provided they comply with other provisions of these rules. An example is a frog pet, which uses a separate animation system (based on 3 frames) compared to a standard outfit (based on 2 frames). However, the Service Provider does not guarantee that such unconventional solutions will remain technically compatible with future changes introduced in the Game.

6.5. The graphic must not use pure black or strongly contrasting outlines that would significantly deviate from the style of the graphics or make the outfit resemble an item lying on the map.
6.6. The graphic may not outline the full movement frame in a way that makes it resemble a rectangle, nor use straight lines that give it a cut-out, unfinished, unnatural appearance inconsistent with the Margonem MMORPG style, either in its static form or during animation.
6.7. Characters must be based on the characteristics and physiology adopted by the overall style of the Game. Characters based on a style significantly different from the Margonem MMORPG convention will not be admitted to the Game. In case of doubt, the official character templates provided below should be used as reference. Core characteristics include, but are not limited to, facial structure and body proportions. Characters that are too thin, deviate in shape, have modified faces, or possess other similarly non-conforming characteristic elements will not be accepted into the Game.

6.8. The graphic must comply with the convention of outfit movement in a way that involves contact with the ground.
6.9. The graphic may not contain more than 45 animation frames.
6.10. The graphic may allow transformation into another character, animal, plant, or object, provided it does not violate other rules set out in these guidelines.
6.11. The graphic may not contain animation/characteristics that could make it harder for other Players to see it on the map. Each case shall be assessed individually, and a graphic may be rejected on the grounds of insufficient visibility on the Margonem MMORPG world map and for hindering gameplay for other Players. The graphic may not feature reduced visibility during animation or complete disappearance, or any similar effect that reduces the character’s visibility on the map, if the total duration exceeds 0.5 seconds, calculated as the sum of all animation frames in which the character’s visibility is reduced compared to the first frame. Each case shall be assessed individually, and a graphic may still be rejected even if the effect lasts less than 0.5 seconds, if it is deemed to hinder gameplay for other Players.
7.1. The graphic must comply with sections 1–5.
7.2. Clan outfits are subject to the same rules as individual outfits.
7.3. Clan outfits may, but do not have to, be introduced in both a female and male version. It is permitted to use the same graphic for both male and female versions; however, this does not affect the price of the service.
8.1. The graphic must comply with sections 1–5.
8.2. The graphic must not exceed 15 kB in file size.
8.3. The item graphic must be 32×32 px in size, with a recommended 1 px margin on each side.
8.4. Each item must have a perfectly black, closed outline distinguishing it from the Game’s background, in the color #000000.
8.5. The item graphic may not exceed 32 animation frames.
8.6. The graphic may not include animation that causes the item to become invisible for a period longer than 1 second.
9.1. The graphic must comply with sections 1–5.
9.2. The graphic may not exceed 64 kB + 10% per each additional special action in file size.
9.3. Graphics may not use pure black or strongly contrasting outlines that significantly deviate from the style of the graphics or allow the outfit to be mistaken for an item lying on the map.
9.4. The graphic must not outline the full movement frame in a way that makes it resemble a rectangle, nor use straight lines that give it a cut, unfinished, unnatural appearance inconsistent with the Margonem MMORPG style.
9.5. The size of a single movement frame must be 32×32 px, 32×48 px, or 48×48 px (width × height).
9.6. If the pet is not animated in idle state, the movement graphic should consist of 4 columns and 4 rows with dimensions of 128×128 px, 128×192 px, or 192×192 px (width × height).
9.7. If the pet is animated in idle state, the movement graphic should consist of 5 columns and 4 rows, where the first column is the idle animation of the pet and the remaining 4 columns are movement frames with dimensions of 160×128 px, 160×192 px, or 240×192 px (width × height). As a reference, please review the graphic below showing available pet types based on the size of a single frame (dimensions are given per single frame in pixels).

9.8. Each special action is an additional vertical column in the graphic.
9.9. The maximum number of special actions is 8 in total, meaning that a maximum of 6 additional special actions may be purchased.
9.10. The pet graphic may not become fully or partially invisible.
9.11. The graphic may not exceed 36 animation frames.
9.12. The submission must include the name of the pet as well as the names of the special actions, consistent with the Terms of Service of the Margonem Service and Game and general rules of appropriate conduct.
9.13. The maximum number of characters for the pet name is 40.
9.14. The maximum number of characters for a pet special action name is 20.
9.15. The list of allowed characters in names is the same as for the “Item Name Change” service.
9.16. The pet includes 2 special actions as part of the base package.
1. General Rules
2. Copyrights
- for an item: item-shadow;
- for an individual outfit: character-shadow or character-shadow-female;
- for a clan outfit: character-shadow or character-shadow-female;
- for an item: item-shadow;
- for an individual outfit: character-shadow or character-shadow-female;
- for a clan outfit: character-shadow or character-shadow-female;
3. Introduction of a Custom Graphic
3.1. The User submits a graphic compliant with these rules through the Support. To do so, a thread must be created in the “Payments” section. The message must include:
a. The graphic submitted via the attachment system;
b. Information about the author, e.g. the entity name and/or a link to a portfolio, contact page, or Account Profile;
4. Lore-Related Requirements
4.1. The graphic must fit naturally into the world of Margonem MMORPG, meaning it should match the medieval fantasy atmosphere or, by reference, historical periods ranging from antiquity to the 16th century.

Solutions considered inconsistent with the graphic design style include, in particular:
a. Character outlines using uniform or nearly uniform colors that disrupt the visual integration of the character with the Game’s background;

b. dark, high-contrast outlines using in particular the color #000000 and related colors, as well as colors producing a similar effect through contrast, which cause the character to visually stand out from the Game’s background;

c. the use of neon or highly saturated colors to outline large areas of the graphic, causing it to significantly stand out from the Game’s background-even if colors from the palette are used (saturated palette colors are intended for decorative elements, highlighting details, etc.);

d. solutions leading to outlining a large surface of a single frame of the graphic, resulting in a shapeless appearance of the depicted character, item, pet, etc., and significantly making it resemble a rectangle;

e. the use of straight lines in places where they would not naturally occur, in a way that reduces the quality of the graphic;

f. significant deviation from the provided official character templates in terms of anatomy and quality, for example through modification of the face, anatomy, palette, or other characteristic elements;

g. incorrect or missing shading of elements or of the graphic as a whole;

h. carelessness or chaotic lines that make the graphic resemble an amorphous blot, particularly when this is not justified by the concept of the graphic;

i. a “flatness” effect that makes the character resemble a printed paper cutout when compared with official graphics, resulting from a combination of the issues described in the previous points;

j. the use of additional filters/animations/other techniques that lead to the loss of typical characteristics of pixel art or violate other technical rules, resulting in the graphic being transformed into a collage-type work;

k. lack of a transparent background;

l. incorrect positioning of the character within the animation frames, resulting in improper display in the Game;

m. other related and equally incorrect and/or careless solutions that result in low-quality graphics, which are not mentioned here.
6. Technical Requirements - Individual Outfits

7. Technical Requirements - Clan Outfits
8. Technical Requirements - Individual Items
9. Technical Requirements - Individual Pets
