Balance of Margonem has been drastically disrupted by the War of the Mages, which continues to leave its mark on the lives of its inhabitants to this day. Forests teeming with wild beasts have become the least of their worries in an age of increasingly bizarre monsters and monstrosities that have taken root in the wilds. Many of them threaten the natural order, others are outright distortions of the laws of nature. Though the Mages are gone, their dark creations still pose a deadly threat. The world as remembered by the elders will never return - the time has come for everyone to adapt to the harsh new reality. And you? Will you take up arms to support the Order of Balance? Or will you run away?
