Although the hospitality of Deadlow's residents was once put to a serious test, no one likely expected them to fail again so soon. After all, how else can you explain sending out invitations, encouraging people to join the Halloween festival—only to leave the entire town completely empty?! Unless, of course, the matter is far more complicated than it seems at first glance...
