1. Technical Requirements:
• The graphic must be created in pixel art technique.
• The graphic must be saved in GIF format.
• The graphic must have a transparent background.
• The file size of the graphic must not exceed 64kB.
• The size of a single frame of motion must not exceed 32x48 px (width x height).
• The graphic should consist of 4 columns and 4 rows, totaling 128x192 px (width x height).
• The width of all columns and the height of all rows must be the same.
• The graphic may contain any number of animations as long as it does not exceed 64kB.
• The character graphic must not be based on other individual appearances.
• The graphic cannot be based on premium outfits.
• The graphic cannot be based on outfits available from event lotteries or other outfits derived from sources associated with the premium offer.
• The graphic may be based on profession outfits.
• The character graphic should not be made in excessively bright colors, nor contain strobe animations.
• The character cannot be transparent for a period longer than 0.5 seconds. Disappearance animations are only allowed below this time.
• No graphic or its element may originate from RPG Maker.
• The graphic cannot exceed 45 frames of animation.
• The duration of one frame of animation must not be shorter than 40ms.
• It is recommended to maintain a 1px margin on all 32x48px frames.
These guidelines ensure that custom graphics maintain a quality and style consistent with the game environment while respecting intellectual property and technical limitations.
2. Story Requirements:
• The depicted character must fit into the medieval fantasy theme and/or epochs from antiquity to the 16th century.
• The character must represent one of the races existing in the world of Margonem. A detailed list of races with examples and available skin/fur tones is available below.
• The graphic provided below showing available skin tones is illustrative - more information is located directly near the graphic.
• Characters with fur must have fur tones that occur in nature.
• The character may possess attributes not associated with their race (such as fox ears on a female head) provided they do not violate other points of the regulation. Any major diversifications may appear as an integral part of the clothing/armor decoration (e.g., Hussar wings).
• The character cannot fly/crawl/levitate and must adhere to general movement rules like in other outfits that are not part of the premium or event offerings.
• The character graphic must not suggest an origin from an era not specified above, e.g., having lightsabers or firearms more modern than those appearing in the game.
• The graphic cannot depict more than one character, nor additional pets/organisms.
• The character cannot transform into animals or objects.
• The character may transform into another available race if it does not break another point of the regulation.
Available Races:
- Humans and human-like (hobbits, dwarves, vampires)
- Elves
- Goblins
- Gnomes
- Orcs
- Lizard people from Mythar
- Tolloks
- Werecats
- Satyrs
- Kobolds
- Canine humanoids, i.e., werewolves and gnolls
- Mini-furbolgs
- Mini-minotaurs
3. Copyright:
- Providing a graphic is regarded as confirmation of the rights to the graphic by the player who supplied it, and the supplier bears all consequences associated with this.
- In case of reports of theft and/or plagiarism by third parties, supported by incontrovertible evidence, showing that the supplier does not have the required rights to the supplied graphic, the supplying player bears full responsibility for unlawfully distributing graphics that are not their own, and the game administration will immediately remove the graphic from the game and refund the Draconite to the player's account.
- According to the points mentioned above, it is the player's responsibility to verify that the graphic is not stolen or plagiarized.
- The administration provides players with base versions of outfits and permits their modification for use in the Margonem.
- Using the aforementioned outfits outside the Margonem is considered unlawful theft.
- In cases where a report supported by incontrovertible evidence (similar to other reports) indicates that a player is trading graphics stolen from the Margonem database, described as individual graphics whether unlawfully modified or not, they will be punished with an account ban according to the fraud clause. In cases where the author of the modification or the fraudster is a person not associated with the game, the reporter is considered the culprit as a person not adhering to the regulations concerning individual graphics.
4. Player's Individual Outfit:
- The player provides the graphic after purchasing the appropriate permission via the contact panel.
- The graphic will be verified by a competent person to meet the technical and narrative requirements set by the administration and may be rejected if it does not meet the specified requirements.
- Due to the above reasons, the administration reserves the right to reject the graphic of an individual outfit without giving a reason.
- The player has 7 days to introduce corrections to the character graphic free of charge.
- An example of an individual outfit can be found HERE.
- Player is obligated to provide the author's details. This information may be crucial in identifying the right owner of the graphics. The detail can be reduced to identifiable nickname of the main character from the author's account.
- In case of doubts whether a given graphic and/or idea meets the technical or narrative requirements, the player should consult the graphic and/or idea via the contact panel.
- All transactions between players are an external matter, not related to the game, so the company will not interfere in such matters.
- In the case of transferring rights to graphics, e.g., by selling an outfit to another player, both parties should notify the administration via the contact panel to avoid accusations of theft or plagiarism.
Clan Outfit:
Two versions of the outfit (female and male) must be delivered to SMG via the Contact Panel, and the clan treasury must have 42,000Ð. The clan outfit cannot have any attributes (e.g., a sword in hand, a bow on the back), and the rest of the requirements are analogous to individual outfits.
Available Skin Tones: (*)
(*) The graphic is for demonstration purposes. Players do not have to use the exact shade; a similar shade may be used. For example, the given dark skin tone leans towards violet, but a player can create a character with a shade leaning towards brown. However, players cannot create a shade completely unlike any of the ones provided, e.g., a character in brightly pink with high saturation. Characters with fur should have fur colors that occur in nature.
